THE ATTACK OF AN ANGRY WHITE MAN! JON VOIGHT - THE NEW FACE OF REPUBLICANS?
For a man who can't find peaceful co-existence with his daughter, actress Angelina Jolie, Jon Voight slammed President Barack Obama as a `false prophet', claiming everything Obama has done has been a failure. Quite an assessment of a man who has been in office less than 5 months, as of this writing. Since his swearing in, White men in government, media, and society at large have allowed their bigotry to flow, freely, and more overt than ever before. For the first time, we're getting an honest portrayal of that third of White America that refuses to give up their racial hatred. With actor Jon Voight coming out as the Charlton Heston (NRA) of the Organization For The Preservation Of White Men(my fictional creation). Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Bill O'Reilly, and Newt Gingrich are, already, current members. These clowns would have you believe that White men are an endangered species due to the fact that they are no longer in control of everything we live and breath.
The reality is, whether in government, banking, Wall Street, real estate and oil, this country is on its hands and knees due to the outlandish greed, avarice, and mindset of my White brethren. If they feel we are going into the direction of socialism, remember that we're here due to the actions of men that LOOK LIKE THEM - not minorities. And we're trying to rectify those policies THEY created, nearly destroying this country.
This is not about attacking my White brothers, but opening their eyes to the truth of this reality we're living. Think about it. Would you lend money to a person you don't think could pay it back (if you weren't being benevolent)? No! So why would a bank lend money they didn't expect to get back? Unless they had a bigger rip off scheme in mind - security derivative swaps! What minority person do you think came up with that idea?
That's why we're where we are! Hedge funds, off-shore accounts, security derivative swaps, sub-prime loans, de-regulation, outsourcing, etc. are nothing but, what we use to call, White Boy Rip-0ff Schemes!
I've heard a number of working class and middle class White men talk about the Republican Party being the White Man's Party. These cheerleaders are ignorant of how they aren't really part of that party, because the Party is really looking out for certain White men - not the majority. They dupe middle class and working class White folks by claiming to be for issues of religion, gay marriage, pro-life (hypocrisy), tax cuts (really for the rich & big business) and smaller government, with a touch of racism. Yet, working class and middle class Republicans suffer along with the rest of us economically, because they believe Republicans are for `Whyte folks more than minorities'. These people think they have some kind of advantage over minorities. Their share of being ripped-off is greater than minorities. Who are the fools?
Talk about folks taking advantage of their own kind because they believe `they're just not that bright'. If you ain't got money or power, the Republican Party ain't offering you a damn thing. They tell White folks, MINORITIES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOU PAYING MORE IN TAX DOLLARS, without also telling them, THERE ARE MORE WHITE MOTHERS WITH CHILDREN ON WELFARE THAN ANY OTHER GROUP!
Republicans are worried about only two colors, and they come in tandem -white and green! Look at how they're attempting to protect insurance companies, HMO's and drug companies when it comes to a National Healthcare System. Hell with the people. Republicans don't seem to think any other group even belongs on the Supreme Court other than White men. This isn't in line with our Declaration Of Independence that said, No Taxation Without Representation. Is this strictly for White males? Is this what strict constructionism is for our Supreme Court Justices? No doubt!
When you have difficulty dealing with fellow Americans of different backgrounds, doesn't it fortell you would have difficulty with people of other cultures around the world? That's where we are, with President Obama moving us in a more positive direction with the world with regard to mutual respect. But remember, if President Bush didn't understand Black Americans, what would make anyone think he knew the Muslim and Arab world any better? Wishing and hoping?
We're all Americans with the same rights, and with a desire to be properly represented throughout society. Get used to it.
QUESTION EVERYTHING! THAT'S WHERE THE TRUTH RESIDES.
The ignorance of hatred lies in the fact that the hater is blind to his/her
own personal responsibility for their circumstances in life. While the
haters blame Obama & miniorities for their circumstances, the greater
majority recognizes we are in this mess due to the greed of wealthy White
men. Yet, the haters are breaking out the guns killing people who have
nothing to do with their circumstances.
I can't help but think how every negative event a minority is involved,
parts of White America asks for Black people to speak out against what that
person has done. When the shoe is on the other foot, we often get silence.
Why aren't we questioning Rush, O'Reilly, Hannity, Coulter and the rest of
the crew where they stand on these terrorist attacks on Americans by White
Americans?
